Talance was founded in 2001. The Boston-based strategic web development and e-learning firm focuses on making simple, easy-to-use websites and online learning projects for nonprofit, academic and corporate organizations.
Monique is the CEO of Talance. She has worked with a wide range of clients, including UMass Medical Center, Massachusetts State DPH and Center for Congregations.
Over the past decade, Monique has helped companies take their ideas from jotted notes and half-formed thoughts to fully developed, robust products, that serve vast, specialized communities. Her expertise includes strategic development, content management, user experience, and user interface design.
Monique launched her first website in 1994. Since then, she has launched, managed, kick-started and consulted on many Web projects. She is an entrepreneur who is passionate about sharing knowledge with others. She is a widely published author and valued for her ability to put complicated technologies into easy-to-understand terms.

Peter is passionate about usability and information design. As Talance's co-founder and CIO, he is versed in a wide variety of technologies and has helped clients in an array of industries solve tough technical issues, from straightening out CRM tangles to developing content publishing systems.
Peter leads Talance's technology, including development strategy, computer application development, and leading open-source technologies.
He brings new meaning to the word "focus," and thrives on all things new. He likes to see how the end user will respond to a product. Peter received a Master's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction from DeMontfort University in Leicester, England, UK, and also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast and Electronic Engineering from University of Brighton in Brighton, England, UK.
